John Arehart is the Vice President of Project Development for Ohio. John has been a part of the Apex team since 2009. During this time, he has helped develop wind projects across Ohio, as well as other states in the Midwest and Virginia.
“As a wind farm developer, I always try to work closely with landowners, local officials, and the public to answer questions about a project. I see my role as a facilitator to ensure the perspectives of all stakeholders are considered in project planning.”
Carmen O'Keefe is a development manager and the primary point of contact for the Honey Creek Wind Project. She has been with Apex since 2015 and manages wind and solar projects in New York, Maine, and Ohio.
Jessica Walsh is a Development Manager for Apex Clean Energy and works on other wind and solar projects in New York and Ohio. She started out as an intern for Apex in December of 2017 and was hired on full-time in November of 2018. She is a graduate of the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Geoscience. Jessica is eager to work closely with the public to promote renewable energy and community benefits across Ohio.
Tyler Fehrman is the Field Manager for Ohio and works on public engagement for Honey Creek Wind. Tyler's background is in state government and energy policy. He is a life-long resident of Ohio and grew up in rural Knox County, where he learned the value of hard work and bringing communities together around common interests.
Julie Drennen is a public engagement manager for Honey Creek Wind. Julie previously worked for nonprofits in Minnesota, working with energy utilities to promote and improve energy efficiency in homes and businesses. She also has a background in community engagement and outreach, as well as policy advocacy. Julie lives in Minnesota but was born in Toledo, Ohio and still roots for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
